PCIe to 4 RS232 Serial Adapter

This is a desktop PCIe x1 expansion card implementing four RS-232 serial ports via the ASIX AX99100 controller. The board uses a black PCB substrate with integrated metal shielding, measuring standard low-profile PCIe dimensions. It requires only a free PCIe x1 slot — installation is tool-free and does not require auxiliary power connectors. Each port supports standard RS-232 voltage levels (±12 V), full modem control signals, and data rates up to 115.2 kbps. Also supports advanced features including 9-bit multi-drop mode for industrial bus topologies and Slow IrDA mode for infrared-compatible devices. Supplied with one set of DB25-to-DB9 interface cables (approx. 30 cm / 11.8 in), enabling immediate use with common serial peripherals. Targeted at system integrators, embedded solution providers, and technical support teams deploying in retail, banking, logistics or manufacturing settings — where reliable, deterministic serial I/O remains mission-critical despite modern computing platforms phasing out native COM headers.
