Pendant 28 Cross - Pewter

Artfully crafted pewter pendant featuring an inverted cross. The pendant is richly decorated and partially blackened. Dimensions: approx. 54 mm high x approx. 31 mm wide. Inner diameter of the eyelet: approx. 4.5 mm. Weight: approx. 8 g. The pendant comes with a black cotton cord. Background: Inverted crosses are popular accessories in the metal and gothic scenes. This cross shape is sometimes also referred to as a Satanic cross, a symbol of the Antichrist. Interestingly, for Christians, this motif of the upside-down cross is traditionally known as the "St. Peter's Cross": According to tradition, the Apostle Peter was crucified upside down.
