Pendant 333 Iron Cross - Silver

Petite Iron Cross made of 925 sterling silver. The chain pendant is partially blackened on the front, smoothly polished on the back. Dimensions: approx. 17 mm high x approx. 17 mm wide Innen dimensions of the eyelet: approx. 7 mm high and approx. 4 mm wide weight: approx. 5.5 g The jewelry pendant is supplied including a black cotton strap. Background: The Iron Cross was introduced as a war decoration in 1813 by the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm III. In 1914, Kaiser Wilhelm II renewed the foundation of the Order. Today, the EK can be seen as a national emblem of the Bundeswehr on all vehicles of the German military.
