Eisernes cross made of shiny tin (Shiny Pewter), including link chain made of tin. The pendant is partially blackened, so that the design comes into its own. <br><>Material: Tin / Shiny Pewter Dimensions of the pendant: approx. 34 mm high x approx. 28 mm wide Leng length of the chain: approx. 70 cm closure of the chain: Jewelry carabiner made of tin Total weight Pendant + chain: about 47 g Background: The Iron Cross was awarded as a war decoration in 1813 by the Prussian King Frederick William III. In 1914, Kaiser Wilhelm II renewed the Order's foundation. Today, the EK can be seen as the emblem of the Bundeswehr on all vehicles of the German military.
