This emulator is compatible with steering column locks for BMW E-series vehicles (2004–2014), including models E60, E84, E87, E90, and E93. It is also compatible with select MINI models equipped with CAS2, CAS3, or CAS3+ systems. It is designed to address common issues such as: inability to start the vehicle, remote key fob operation without engine start, and a red steering wheel lock symbol displayed on the instrument cluster — all of which may indicate a faulty steering column lock. The emulator features plug-and-play installation. Simply replace the original steering column lock module with this unit — no programming or additional tools required.
