What is this- PoE distributor splits the PoE+ signal (802.3at) into Gigabit Ethernet and 5V/4A DC power supply, which can be adapted to USB-C or 5521 barrel ports. What is PoE- power and data through a single Ethernet cable, reducing wall plugs and messy cables. Extend the power cord to a place where there is no AC outlet nearby, 300 feet (about 91.4 ) from the power source. Why a PoE splitter- An economical way to plug-and-play PoE support to 5V power-consuming devices, such as Nano with a barrel port or Raspberry 4 with a USB-C port. What else is needed- You need a PoE+ switch or injector that complies with IEEE 802.3at as a (power supply device) and an Ethernet cable with PoE+ signal to power the distributor.
