Polyester Mesh Butterfly Net 12 Inch Ring

This field-ready butterfly net prioritises functionality and longevity through carefully selected materials and ergonomic engineering. The frame consists of a corrosion-resistant stainless steel telescopic handle, extending from 15 inches (38 cm) to 59 inches (150 cm) with a dependable asymmetric locking system that prevents twisting and maintains alignment. The collection head features a 12-inch (30 cm) outer diameter polyester mesh ring and 24-inch (61 cm) depth, constructed with a consistent 2 mm aperture — optimised for retaining small flying insects including butterflies, bees, and mantises without injury. Lightweight yet resilient, it supports extended outdoor use in gardens, meadows, or school grounds, serving equally well as a teaching resource for ecological awareness and a practical tool for hobbyist naturalists across Europe.
