When your car battery is dead, you can use a compatible cordless tool battery to jump-start your vehicle. Specifications: 8-gauge booster cable designed for starting discharged or weak batteries. Suitable for trucks, SUVs, full-size cars, midsize cars, and compact cars. Instructions for Use: Connect the red clamp to the vehicle’s positive terminal (+) and the black clamp to the negative terminal (–). Insert the DeWalt 20V MAX battery into the adapter and ensure it is fully seated. Attempt to start the vehicle. Once the engine starts, disconnect the jumper cable promptly. Note: For best results, use a battery charged to at least 50%. If the first attempt fails, wait a few minutes before retrying. After successful engine start, disconnect the cable within 30 seconds. The insulated handles help reduce risk of electric shock.
