Portable XLR Audio Noise Isolation Device

Measuring 6.5 x 4.2 x 2.8 cm and weighing just 85 g, this XLR isolator combines lightweight plastic housing with metal XLR connectors for dependable handling and signal continuity. At its core lies a pair of matched audio isolation transformers that decouple ground paths between connected devices, effectively removing low-frequency hum and broadband buzz caused by potential differences in earth reference. It works exclusively with standard 3-pin XLR cables and is intended for use in environments where grounding inconsistencies are unavoidable — including retrofit car audio systems, rented UK accommodation with outdated wiring, and hybrid home studios mixing vintage and contemporary gear. There are no controls, no power requirements, and no calibration — only immediate, tangible improvement in audio cleanliness upon connection.
