Precision Filter Magnetic Drain Stopper

Technical specs: 50 mm top diameter, 38 mm height, 95 g mass; Filter specification: 304 stainless, 120 micron (0.12 mm) aperture, 100% open area ratio; Seal validation: Passed 72-hour submersion test per BS EN 274-1; Corrosion testing: 96-hour neutral salt spray (NSS) per ISO 9227 with zero red rust formation. This stopper was developed in collaboration with UK plumbing contractors to address recurring field issues: premature seal failure, inconsistent magnetic response, and filter bypass due to poor mesh integration. The silicone ring conforms to BS 7777 for elastomeric seals in domestic drainage — its durometer (Shore A 60) balances flexibility for sealing and firmness for longevity. The magnetic circuit is shielded to prevent interference with nearby bathroom electronics (e.g., smart mirrors or Bluetooth speakers). Each unit undergoes individual magnetic pull-force verification (≥ 1.8 N holding force) and hydraulic seal validation before dispatch. It ships with bilingual (English/German) installation guidance aligned with UK Building Regulations Part H (drainage) and DIN 1988 standards for domestic water systems.
