Premium Cotton Filter Sponge Roll

Each roll measures 1 metre in length and 12 cm in width, with a soft, resilient structure made from premium natural cotton fibre. The sponge is lightweight yet dense enough to provide effective mechanical filtration. It is vacuum-sealed for freshness and may arrive slightly wrinkled — this is normal and resolves naturally as the material relaxes to its original flat form. The sponge delivers reliable mechanical filtration by trapping fine debris, uneaten food, and suspended particles while offering ample surface area for beneficial nitrifying bacteria to colonise. Its open-cell structure supports both physical cleaning and biological filtration functions. Designed for repeated use, it can be rinsed gently in tank water and reused many times without degradation or loss of shape. Suitable for freshwater and saltwater aquariums as well as small ornamental ponds, it fits most internal filters, sumps, canister filter trays, and DIY filtration setups. Ideal for community tanks, breeding tanks, shrimp tanks, and any system where gentle yet efficient filtration is required.
