Professional Bricklaying Line Clips

Two-piece set of professional-grade brick line clips. Each unit: 7.5 cm long, 3.2 cm wide, 2.8 cm high; mass: 85 g. Structural frame: cold-formed steel with black oxide anti-corrosion treatment. Gripping interface: 4 mm vulcanised natural rubber pad, permanently bonded. Outer jaw includes a 1.8 mm wide line slot, positioned to align wire at true brick face plane. Fully compatible with standard UK brick formats — tested on 215 × 102.5 × 65 mm metric modular, 225 × 112.5 × 75 mm imperial, and 290 × 140 × 90 mm engineering bricks. Spring mechanism delivers repeatable 12.5 N clamping force with minimal hysteresis — ensuring identical grip strength across repeated open/close cycles. Rubber compound formulated for UK ambient humidity (60–95% RH), resisting swelling or stiffening in damp conditions. Line slot depth (3.5 mm) accommodates standard 1.5 mm nylon line with 0.3 mm clearance — preventing binding or abrasion during tensioning. Commonly applied in speculative housing builds, public realm landscaping and heritage-sensitive renovations — where QA inspectors require demonstrable course alignment within ±2 mm over 6 m, and contractors prioritise tool longevity amid tight margin pressures.
