Each belt is 11.5 cm × 11.5 cm × 0.5 cm (4.52 in × 4.52 in × 0.20 in), made from flexible, heat-resistant PVC. Total weight per belt is approximately 35 g. These are intended solely as mechanical drive replacements — not consumables — and function by coupling the motor shaft to the rotating head assembly. Their stiffness-to-flex ratio has been calibrated to prevent overtightening or slippage during sugar feed cycles. The orange colour serves purely as an identification aid and does not indicate any chemical additive or UV treatment. To extend life, avoid exposing to direct sunlight during storage and inspect regularly for micro-cracks along inner edges.
