A complete hardware solution for repairing Meta Quest 2 VR controllers, focused on joystick replacement. Contains two identical replacement joysticks (12 mm diameter × 8 mm height), each built with conductive rubber caps and gold-plated flex connectors for low-resistance signal transfer. The kit weighs 42 g and arrives in a rigid 15 × 10 × 3 cm cardboard sleeve with internal foam cutouts. Tools include a magnetic-tipped Phillips #0 screwdriver (pre-calibrated for M1.6 fasteners), a dual-edge nylon spudger (0.3 mm thin edge + 1.2 mm wide edge), and anti-static bent-nose tweezers (jaw length 18 mm). All joysticks are tested for full-axis linearity (±2% deviation across 0–100% travel), consistent center voltage (2.5 V ± 0.05 V), and tactile feedback repeatability (1000+ actuations). Designed for repeatable success: the screwdriver’s magnet holds screws during removal, the spudger’s bevelled edge separates housing seams without gouging, and the tweezers allow one-handed flex cable engagement — enabling confident DIY repair even for first-time users.
