This tinder can be used with a fire starter, matches or a lighter (sold separately). One package includes 12 pieces of quickLIGHT tinder. Get yours today and be prepared on your next outdoor adventure! Features: No-mess quickLIGHT is dry-treated cotton and clean to the touch. Extremely easy to light, even with a small spark. quickLIGHT can be lit from a ferrocerium rod such as 's nanoSTRIKER XL or a sparker such as the nanoSPARK (sold separately). Simply pull apart and fluff the end to maximize the surface area, then spark. quickLIGHT will burn for 1-2 minutes; Oftentimes an open flame is needed only for a few seconds to light a tinder bundle. Snuff out the quickLIGHT and reuse it later. Water Resistant: The dry-treated cotton beads water to prevent absorption. Before lighting, knock the water off then fluff the end with dry hands.
