Re thinking old and new jerusalem

Throughout the centuries, the church has been struggling to understand the promise of christ's return. christ said, "all these will happen before this generation ends." theologians continue to wrestle in defining and qualifying what he meant with what he said. it is sad to note that c.s. lewis, being hardwired to futurism went so far as to say that christ did not actually know what he was talking about. i believe this work offers an alternative solution to this theological conundrum. however, you will have to be willing to swallow hard conclusions. you will have to submit yourself to the jeremiah 1:10 principle of being able, ready, and willing to "root out, pull down, destroy, and throw down" anything that stands in the way of the truth before you can start "to build and to plant." if you are not willing to compromise, this book is for you.
