Size: 150 mm × 65 mm cylindrical housing with standard 1/2-inch BSP/NPT thread (fully compatible with UK plumbing). Net weight: 320g. Media composition: staged arrangement of redox alloy, calcium sulfite, and iodine-impregnated activated carbon. Total filtration mass: 420g. Service life: up to 25,000 litres or 6–12 months, aligned with UK average water consumption (140 L/person/day × 2 people = ~8,400 L/6 months). Filtration process begins with mechanical pre-filtration (stainless mesh), followed by catalytic chlorine reduction (redox), secondary chloramine scavenging (calcium sulfite), and final adsorption of volatile organic compounds and hydrogen sulphide (activated carbon). Does not alter mineral content or TDS — only removes irritants known to compromise epidermal health. Validated for use with UK municipal supplies (e.g., Thames, Severn Trent, United Utilities), private boreholes and shared rural mains. Particularly effective where water is dosed with both chlorine and ammonia (forming chloramines), which resist standard carbon filtration alone.
