Repeat by maham shah

"repeat" is about dilemmas - a collection of them - accompanied by episodes of dissociation and derealisation. it's a recollection of childhood trauma - a neglected inner child - creeping into adulthood. repeat is an attempt to re-enact some of those events. the illustrations are creations of an adult-child mind. the font used replicates the handwriting found in a self-written note from when the author was in fifth grade.a big thanks to tasweerghar for the space where the author's self-reflection took place. it would not have been possible to create this piece on normal days otherwise.trigger warning: repeat covers themes of death, grief, loss, suicide ideation, mental illness, childhood trauma and abuse.
