Riello-Compatible Flame Sensor Eye

This flame sensor eye piece is manufactured from robust black plastic and features compact dimensions (approx. 4.5 × 1.8 cm) with a weight of ~12 g. It replaces Riello part numbers 20132573 and 3002280, serving as the critical flame-sensing element in Cad Cell Eyes used on 40 Series oil burners. As a photocell-based detector, it converts flame UV/visible light into an electrical signal that confirms active combustion to the burner control box. Its design supports consistent response time and sensitivity within standard operating temperatures of oil-fired heating systems. Intended for professional installation and maintenance, this sensor supports compliance with UK Gas Safe and OFTEC-aligned practices where oil burner safety controls are verified — especially during annual service checks or fault diagnosis involving intermittent lockouts or failure to ignite.
