Robust 12V 3A AC-DC Step-Down Module

This AC-DC step-down converter transforms AC input voltages between 10 V and 28 V into a steady DC 12 V output rated for continuous 3 A current delivery (36 W maximum). Its dimensions are 60 mm × 40 mm × 25 mm, and it weighs 95 g. The housing is made from flame-retardant plastic, offering resistance to ignition and structural integrity under thermal stress. With an IP67 ingress protection rating, it withstands full dust exposure and temporary submersion — suitable for permanent outdoor deployment or wet-industrial settings. Internal circuitry includes automatic recovery-free protection against over-voltage, over-current, and short circuits, ensuring fail-safe operation. Engineered using high-density SMD components, the module maintains stable regulation across temperature variations and load changes. Common applications include 12 V LED lighting on boats or caravans, remote sensor power in agricultural automation, and auxiliary power in machinery control panels.
