Child safety (DIN EN 13120) Choking hazard: Loose cords and chains from internal blinds can wrap around the neck of small children, leading to a choking hazard. Distance to the floor: The control cords or chains must be so short that they are not accessible to small children. The loops should be at least 150 cm from the ground. Furniture and beds: It is important not to place beds or furniture within reach of the blind controls, as children could use them as climbing aids. Breakaway system: Integrate a breakaway system (overload protection) that breaks when loaded and keep the chain at a maximum of two-thirds of the product height.
