Rotating Shock Mount For Large Diaphragm Mics

Size: approx. 18.5 × 11.5 cm (7.28 × 4.52 inches). Material: high-cycle plastic engineered for studio longevity. Clamping range: 18–57 mm diameter — validated for AKG C2035, C103, Rode NT1-MK4, Neumann U87, and Audio-Technica PCK200. Includes a fixed 3/8-inch male thread for direct mounting. Offers smooth, controlled 180° rotation with tactile feedback — allowing accurate alignment of cardioid or figure-8 polar patterns toward intended sound sources. The dual-point elastic suspension minimises energy transfer from supporting structures, reducing mechanical noise contamination — particularly effective against low-frequency energy below 60 Hz that commonly masks vocal presence in untreated rooms. Commonly deployed in London-based production houses, university media labs, and independent voice artists’ home studios — where reliability, ease of use, and acoustic transparency are prioritised over flashy aesthetics or unverified claims.
