RS232 4-Port Sharing Switch Metal

Sturdy metal-housed RS232 switch measuring 118 x 94 x 38 mm, designed for consistent performance in harsh operational environments. Material choice ensures resistance to impact, corrosion, and thermal expansion — critical for wall-mounted or DIN-rail mounted use near HVAC units or industrial ovens. Physical isolation architecture prevents current leakage and voltage backfeed between connected devices, safeguarding sensitive instrumentation and PLCs. Button-driven operation enables intuitive, fail-safe selection without reliance on host resources — each press toggles or selects a dedicated port with clear tactile feedback. Optimised for applications demanding auditability and traceability: pharmaceutical batch recorders, energy submeter aggregation, maritime navigation systems, and broadcast equipment control — where serial link accountability is non-negotiable.
