This NEMA23-compatible closed-loop stepper motor driver features an aluminium alloy shell for effective heat dissipation and robust build quality. Dimensions and weight align with standard NEMA23 mounting requirements; exact mechanical footprint and mass are consistent with industry-standard servo-grade drivers of this class. It supports 1–256 microstepping resolution, adjustable working current, and a maximum input pulse frequency of 160 kHz — enabling smooth motion up to 3000 RPM. The driver operates via RS485 interface using MODBUS-RTU protocol, and offers six distinct control modes: pulse-based open-loop, closed-loop and FOC; plus serial-based open-loop, closed-loop and FOC. Additional functionality includes curve acceleration/deceleration profiles, limit switch homing (return-to-zero), and multi-axis synchronous operation. Electrical compatibility requires matched logic voltage levels: if STP/DIR/EN signals are 3.3 V, the COM reference must also be 3.3 V; if 5.0 V, COM must be 5.0 V. The PCB assembly uses ABS insulating material for internal structural components.
