Rubber-Surround Paper Speaker Cones

Each speaker cone drum paper has an outer diameter of approximately 126 mm (5 inches), inner diameter of 26 mm (1 inch), and height of 25 mm (0.98 inch), making them ideal for retrofitting or repairing standard 5-inch loudspeakers. The cone body is crafted from premium paper with reinforced, sealed rounded edges — offering enhanced resistance to physical abrasion, deformation, and environmental contaminants like dust and debris that could otherwise impair coil operation. A flexible rubber surround forms the perimeter, allowing consistent radial motion as the voice coil drives the diaphragm — mimicking the taut, responsive behaviour of a drumhead to produce clean, articulate sound. While paper offers excellent transient response and natural damping, its hygroscopic nature means performance can subtly shift with ambient moisture levels; best results are achieved in indoor, climate-moderated installations. Supplied as a pair with two matching paper covers for full usability straight out of the box.
