as a child, anne sollee was taught to memorize scripture. although it wasn t always a fun thing to do, she has remembered it throughout the years and leaned on god s word even in the direst of circumstance. following a mission trip to an orphanage in kenya in the summer of 2011, the children there inspired anne to create the scripture scrapbook for children. this is a scrapbook of vivid images, coupled with bible verses and commentary from anne herself. each page is designed to mimic the appearance of a scrapbook, complete with cut-out dictionary definitions and hand-drawn illustrations to entice the eyes of a child. from the old testament to the new, anne reminds children of god s love. when a child loses hope or feels lonely or overlooked, this scrapbook can remind him or her that god has a master plan, that god s love is always offered, and that they were created by him. scripture scrapbook for children seeks to educate, inspire, and most of all, ignite a passion for god that lasts a lifetime.
