Sealed M16x2 Galvanized Pipe End Cap

M16×2 metric male-threaded end cap fabricated from corrosion-resistant galvanized steel, incorporating a pre-installed rubber sealing ring and a functional 17 mm hex head. Dimensions: total length approximately 20 mm, thread pitch 2.0 mm, hex width 17 mm, unit weight ~25 g. The galvanizing process enhances longevity in variable environmental conditions — from underfloor heating manifolds exposed to condensation, to external gas vent terminations subject to rain and temperature cycling. The rubber seal is radially compressed upon final tightening, forming a conformal interface with the internal pipe wall to block moisture, debris and airflow. Installation uses standard hand tools only — no power drivers or calibration needed. Frequently specified in mechanical services packages for residential developments, school HVAC upgrades and factory utility line isolation where repeatable, low-risk sealing is mandated by specifiers and site supervisors alike.
