Si5351 clock family offers a compact, low cost solution for flexible timing and clock distribution. Built on a PLL/VCXO MultiSynth architecture with a fractional divider, it can generate up to 160 MHz per output with 0 ppm error for cost sensitive applications and easy I2C control. Key benefits - Flexible I2C clock generator compatible with crystals, crystal oscillators, VCXOs, PLLs and fanout buffers. - Reduces component count and board space while delivering stable, scalable timing across multiple outputs. - Fractional division enables precise frequency synthesis over a wide range. Variants - Si5351A: up to 8 running clocks from an internal oscillator, replacing external crystals where feasible. - Si5351B: adds an integrated VCXO for running and synchronous clocks with user pull crystals, covering a wide tuning range. - Si5351C: same flexibility with synchronization to an external reference clock (CLKIN), generating up to 8 noninteger-related frequencies from 8 kHz to 160 MHz via I2C.
