Silent Downspout Elbow Insert

Dimensions: 2.6 inches (6.6 cm) wide × 11.8 inches (30 cm) long. Composed of a pliable, galvanic-corrosion-resistant metal substrate and a front-mounted layer of acoustically tuned absorbent cotton. Two units included per pack — sufficient for treating both main roof drainage points on most UK detached or semi-detached houses. Installation involves temporary disconnection of the downspout elbow, manual shaping of the metal to grip the interior curve, and reassembly — taking under 5 minutes per unit with no specialist tools. The cotton layer is positioned to intersect the natural parabolic path of falling rainwater, ensuring maximum contact area and minimal splash-through. Performance validated under UK seasonal conditions: maintains effectiveness across temperature ranges (-5°C to 30°C) and repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Cotton does not shed fibres or compact permanently, preserving noise-dampening consistency year after year.
