Description 1. Pre-flashed with EZSP v8 (EmberZNet Serial Protocol version 8) 2. ZHA compatible with Home Assistant or Zigbee2MQTT (pre-alpha) 3. Based on EFR32MG21 CH340E 4. 20 dBm output gain. PCB antenna 5. Plastic housing 6. OTA update via UART (Press the BOOT button, then the nRST button, and finally release the BOOT button) 7. Baud rate: 115-200. If the device is Zigbee compliant, it may work with other gateways, but this remains to be confirmed. It comes pre-flashed with an unsigned EmberZNet 6.7.9 NCP Zigbee application firmware. Compatible with Silabs' standard EZSP v8 (EmberZNet Serial Protocol version 8) interface and Silabs' standard Gecko boot firmware for recovery, it can be used as is or flashed with custom application firmware via USB. Its hardware is based on the Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 Series 2 multiprotocol wireless SoC (part number EFR32MG21A020F768IM32) and a WCH CH340E USB-to-serial/UART bridge controller. Although it only has an integrated PCB antenna, the radio incorporates a 20 dBm power amplifier (output power) and a -104.5 dBm receive sensitivity, making it an excellent Zigbee coordinator or router if the hardware and firmware are properly implemented.
