The ventless mechanism functions purely through surface tension and material compression: no moving parts, no vents, no seals to fail. Works best with clean, dry lenses—but retains sufficient hold even with trace moisture due to silicone’s natural affinity for hydrophobic surfaces. Recommended for daily use by scleral lens wearers in the UK, including those managing post-corneal graft recovery, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, or neurotrophic keratitis.
