Solid Brass Barbed Hex Bushing Connector

A heavy-duty, double-headed brass connector featuring barbed ends for tubing retention and external threads for rigid pipe coupling — all housed within a compact hexagonal body. Machined from solid brass rod stock for maximum density and thread fidelity, it delivers dependable performance in repetitive assembly/disassembly scenarios. Dimensions: #1 size — larger barbed end accepts ~6 mm OD tubing; smaller end fits ~4 mm OD tubing; overall length 9 mm. Outer diameters are 13 mm and 10 mm respectively, allowing clear visual and tactile differentiation during blind installation. Finish is natural brass — corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, and compliant with UK WRAS guidance for incidental water contact. Ideal for workshop air lines, aquaponics feed lines, coffee machine water manifolds, and retrofit plumbing upgrades. Four units per pack. Recommended installation: clean all mating surfaces, apply 2–3 wraps of PTFE tape clockwise on threads, and tighten firmly but not excessively using a calibrated 12 mm spanner.
