Split Core Current Transformer 700/5A 50mm Opening Sensor

Opening Type Split Core Current Transformer This opening type split core current transformer, model AKH-0.66K, is designed for easy installation without the need to disconnect existing wiring. With a 50mm aperture diameter, it accommodates cables or busbars up to that size, making it a practical choice for retrofitting current measurement in established electrical panels and distribution boards. Measurement Performance Rated at 700/5A with an accuracy class of 0.5, this transformer delivers reliable current transformation for metering and monitoring applications. The 0.5 accuracy class ensures dependable readings, supporting effective energy management and load monitoring in commercial and industrial electrical installations. Installation and Application The split core design allows the transformer to be opened and clipped around a conductor quickly, minimising downtime during installation. This makes it particularly well suited to upgrade projects, temporary monitoring setups, and routine maintenance work where circuit interruption is undesirable. The robust construction ensures stable performance within standard operating environments.
