Stainless M6 M10 Thread Conversion Bushing

Ten solid-thread bushings made from 303 stainless steel, each 12 mm long with a slotted drive feature. Each unit integrates an M6 × 1.0 internal thread and an M10 × 1.5 external thread — designed to convert a stripped or oversized tapped hole into a reinforced, serviceable M6 thread. Installation follows a two-step process: tap the damaged hole to M10 × 1.5, then install the bushing flush or slightly below surface level using a slotted driver. Once installed, the bushing provides a new, high-integrity M6 thread that exceeds the strength of the original base material — particularly valuable in soft metals or plastics prone to thread damage. Validated in applications ranging from server rack hardware and medical device enclosures to agricultural sensors and transport lighting systems.
