The edge ruler provides unparalleled accuracy for panel layout work. Simply press the head to the desired angle and then draw the straight line. The woodworking ruler's head adjusts between 0° and 70°, locking securely every 5°, including 22-1/2° and 67-1/2°, offering precise reference angles and measurements. The surface features laser-etched scales that are clear, easy to read, and designed to minimize parallax error for improved accuracy. To use, place a pencil in the notch and slide the tip along the edge of the barrel to create parallel lines. Both edges of the ruler blade are engraved with 1/32 inch scales, with total cumulative error within a tolerance of 0.004 inch. Suitable for engineering, angle measurement, student drawing, architectural design, length measurement, and ideal for students, carpenters, architects, and designers.
