Steering Column Ignition Pin Kit

A dual-unit metal ignition actuator pin kit intended for restoration of mechanical linkage between ignition switch and steering lock assembly. Each pin is machined from corrosion-resistant metal, with smooth chamfered ends and uniform surface finish to ensure low-friction travel inside the column housing. Overall dimensions align with factory tolerances (±1–3 cm), and total package weight is light for convenient handling and storage. The pins operate by translating rotary motion from the ignition key cylinder into linear displacement that engages or retracts the steering lock bolt. Their rigidity maintains alignment under load, preserving consistent electrical contact timing and mechanical response across thousands of cycles. Fits widely across Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep platforms produced from 1984 through 2010 — particularly valuable for owners of aging vehicles like the XJ Cherokee, TJ Wrangler, early Sebring and Neon — where original components are obsolete, expensive or unavailable from dealerships.
