Stem Cartridge Seat Spring Kit

A technically accurate, no-compromise repair kit for Delta two-handle faucets commonly installed in UK dwellings. Contains two full-service assemblies: each comprising a solid brass stem (length 52 mm, thread M10×1), stainless steel spring stop (3 mm thick, 18 mm OD), moulded EPDM rubber seat (8.5 mm OD, 2.5 mm thickness), and precision-ground compression spring (14 mm free length, 12 N/mm rate). Assembled unit height: 41 mm. Total kit footprint: 10 × 7 × 3 cm. Built for compatibility with Delta’s legacy and current two-handle architecture — verified on models including 2190-LHP, 2490-RB, 2790-SS, 2155-AR, and 2455-SS. Functions identically on both clockwise (hot) and counter-clockwise (cold) valve bodies. All materials selected per UK water quality directives: brass complies with BS EN 12164, rubber with BS 6920-1, stainless steel with EN 10088-1. Installation restores original Delta performance metrics: ≤ 0.5 mL/min leakage rate post-repair, ≤ 0.3 Nm torque requirement for full handle rotation, and stable temperature retention within ±2°C across 10,000 operational cycles — replicating factory-new behaviour without fixture replacement.
