Sturdy Black String Stretcher For Accurate Intonation

This string stretcher is made entirely from dense black plastic, measuring 12 cm in length and weighing 45 g. Its rigid frame resists flexing under load, while the contoured handle provides natural thumb placement and torque control. The string engagement zone features subtle texturing to enhance grip without abrasion. Its primary role is to accelerate the natural stretching phase of new strings — typically the cause of rapid pitch drop within the first 15–30 minutes of playing. By simulating extended playing tension in seconds, it compresses the settling period and brings strings closer to their final tension state before tuning begins. Works equally well on steel-string acoustics, nickel-plated electrics, and roundwound bass strings. Its neutral black finish complements vintage sunburst, natural wood, and high-gloss finishes alike — and remains visually cohesive whether stored beside pedals, tuners, or capos.
