Sturdy Mesh Butterfly Observation Tent

Standing 90 cm tall with a square 60 cm base, this observation tent uses high-density polyester mesh stretched over a stable, self-supporting frame. Its construction prioritises durability and usability: the mesh is tightly knitted to prevent tiny caterpillars from escaping while allowing optimal airflow to maintain healthy microclimate conditions. A wide vertical zipper on one side simplifies all handling tasks — from introducing newly hatched larvae to removing spent foliage. A separate rigid transparent window offers distortion-free viewing of developmental stages. Weighing just over 1 kg, it features a reinforced top handle and folds into a compact bundle approximately 60 cm long — suitable for storage in standard UK classroom cupboards or garden sheds.
