It is compatible with benchtop drill presses and hand drills featuring clamp diameters from 38 mm to 55 mm (1.5–2.2 inches). The converter functions as a mortising attachment by securing square-shank drill bits within round chucks, allowing precise, controlled cutting for traditional timber joinery.
