Tamper-Proof Timer Lock Box for Phones

Measures 16 × 9 × 6 cm externally; weighs 320 g; internal volume: ~520 ml. Primary structure: powder-coated steel body with corrosion-resistant hardware; secondary components: UV-stabilised ABS plastic rated for indoor UK climate conditions (tested at 5–25°C). Mechanical timer offers precise 1-minute increments across 0–60 minutes; audible 'click' confirms lock engagement. No keys, codes, or apps — just turn, close, and commit. Purpose-built for UK users seeking tangible tools against digital distraction: used by universities (e.g., LSE Study Skills Centre), ADHD support groups, and parenting collectives like ‘Screen-Free UK’ to reinforce intentionality around device use. Also functions as a timed safe for keys, cash, or travel documents during shared accommodation stays.
