The savage green

A renegade scientist has gone missing in the dense tangle of thorn and kudzu which lines the red dirt backroads of the florida panhandle, known to locals as the savage green. a paramilitary contractor has been hired to track him down. along the way, he encounters vicious wildlife, hostile natives, and a powerful supernatural force which threatens to unleash florida on the entire planet. he is assisted by a series of colorful letters, wherein the narrator details his experiences coming of age amidst the drugs, poverty, and ignorance of mid-2000's suburban florida. the savage green is a highly experimental novel which is loosely based on dante's inferno.
