The tourguide

"what an amazing story. but more than a story, it is the real life experience of a young man who faced the monster of mental disturbance with little means to combat it. the anguish he suffered took him on a roller coaster journey of depression, anxiety, and delusion. thanks to the grace of god, he survived to tell of his journey. after his recovery, i had the privilege of being his pastor for fifteen years. he was a vital part of church life, serving his lord, and making each day productive." pastor gene mumau, free methodist church, oregon conference "michael's battle with delusional thinking is brought alive for the reader as he guides us into the inner workings of his mind. hope emerges as his mental anguish finds eventual relief and healing due to the power of his strong christian faith." william vaughters, licensed clinical social worker "guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are god my savior, and my hope is in you all day long." psalm 25:5 niv
