Threaded Metal Solar Filter 80mm

This 80 mm solar filter is built with a rigid all-metal housing and threaded attachment system, designed for direct screw-on installation onto the objective lens cell of compatible telescopes. No glue, tape or temporary fasteners are needed—only secure mechanical engagement. The integrated composite film meets international solar observation safety standards and is optimised for high-contrast solar imaging, including sunspot tracking and eclipse transit monitoring. Dimensions: outer diameter 80 mm; suitable for telescopes whose objective lens outer diameter measures approximately 80 mm (verify via physical measurement before purchase). Material: corrosion-resistant metal. Intended for visual use only—not for photographic solar imaging without additional filtration layers.
