Two-Piece Press-Fit Sink Strainer Set

A pair of robust, press-fit stainless steel sink strainer baskets built for everyday resilience in British kitchens. Dimensions: 11.5 cm diameter × 5 cm height, with uniform 304 stainless steel construction throughout — including mesh base, sidewalls, and top rim. Mesh aperture size is 2 mm, balancing filtration efficiency with unrestricted water passage. Total weight for the set is approx. 170 g — lightweight for handling, dense enough to remain stable during vigorous rinsing or scraping. Each basket installs in seconds: align and press firmly into the sink’s waste opening until fully seated. The slight taper and rigid metal body create a snug, leak-resistant fit without additional seals. Cleaning takes less than 10 seconds — lift out, shake off loose debris, rinse under tap, and reinsert. No soaking, no brushes, no disassembly required. Ideal for modern flats, student accommodations, or busy family homes where speed and simplicity matter. Also works well alongside eco-conscious habits — capturing compostable waste before it enters the sewer system.
