To use: Screw the helix into the center of the cork until the stabilizer bar rests against the top of the cork (or bottle). With blades positioned on either side of the stabilizer bar, insert the longer blade first, then the shorter blade between the cork and bottle neck. Press down alternately on each blade using the handle to work them downward. Continue this rocking motion until the bottom of the handle meets the top of the stabilizer bar. Hold the bottle firmly. With the other hand, grip both the stabilizer bar and handle together, twist gently, and pull upward while continuing to twist to remove the cork.
