Two-wire pull chain switch activates canopy lamps by gently tugging the beaded chain, compatible with most ceiling fans or fan lights. Wiring Steps for Ceiling Fans: 1. Ensure the existing light switch has 2 wires. If there are 3 wires, a 3-wire switch is required. 2. Cut the two wires from the existing light switch using a wire stripper. 3. Strip approximately 1/2 inch of insulation from the black wires. 4. Connect one black wire from the light switch to one black wire from the ceiling fan. 5. Connect the other black wire from the light switch to the other black wire from the ceiling fan. 6. Secure the wire connections using wire connectors by twisting them clockwise. 7. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent fire hazard, electrical shock, or injury.
