USB-Powered DIY Nixie Clock

This is a do-it-yourself electronic clock kit requiring soldering and basic electronics knowledge. Its physical footprint is 140 × 32 × 40 mm, enclosed in a transparent plastic case and powered exclusively via DC 5V USB. Core timing relies on the DS1302 RTC chip, managed by the IAP15W413AS microcontroller. Four nixie-style digital tubes offer rich visual output: each supports four colour options, and system-wide behaviour includes static per-tube selection, synced colour cycling, full-random sequencing, or per-tube random transitions. Time starts at 7:59:59 on 1 January 2019 after reset, supports 12- or 24-hour display, and auto-calculates weekday. Ambient temperature appears in Celsius (default) or Fahrenheit. Three alarms are pre-configured: Alarm 1 is enabled at 7:00; Alarms 2 and 3 are set to 7:00 but disabled. Alarm days can be restricted to Mon–Fri or left open. Hourly chime runs 07:00–21:00 by default and can be switched off. Melodies include 'To Alice' (default), 'Ode to Joy', and 'Spanish Bullfighter'. Display modes cycle through time-only (default), time+temperature, time+date+week, and time+date+day+date. Brightness is auto-adjusted or manually fixed to high/medium/low. Time correction function allows periodic recalibration.
