Vermillion Red Trellick Tower Bookend - London Landmark
Vermillion Red Trellick Tower Bookend - London Landmark. Designed by Susan Bradley, these bookends have been selected as part of the Hidden Art Select 2009 range. Susan has chosen three of her personal favourites to fit the bill, all of which we stock - the industrial looking Trellick Tower and The Gherkin and Battersea Power Station, both of which are instantly recognisable features of the London skyline. The Trellick Tower is located in North Kensington, London and is a 31 storey block of flats. It was commissioned by the GLC (Greater London Council) in 1966 and completed around 1972. It is now a Grade II listed building and was designed by architect Ern? Goldfinger in the Brutalist style. Celebrating London architecture with both iconic and alternative landmark buildings in the form of functional bookends this Trellick Tower, in vermillion red, would look great on any book shelf, either in the home or office. The red Trellick Tower Bookend measures approx h16 x w14 x d12cm. (also available in grey) The vermillion red Trellick Tower Bookend is made in England, using powdercoated steel.
