1. Touchscreen fingertips let you answer calls while wearing gloves. But honestly, these are still winter gloves, so no, you won't be able to have a text conversation with your girlfriendenjoy the nature you're in and put your phone down. 2. Waterproof: We're talking about putting your hands in the water and not getting them wet and being waterproof. So keep reaching into that ice cave and pulling out the giant-eyed beast. Or shred powder in these ski gloves because your hands will stay dry. 3. Heavy-duty construction: First, we take a Cordura nylon shell (not that thin nylon junk that will rip on the first use), then we put in a Hipora lining (that's what makes it waterproof, it's basically a Gore-Tex), then we have 70 grams of 3M Thinsulate and foam insulation (should keep these gloves warm), then a soft fleece lining. 4. Storage: You can never have enough pockets, so we added pockets on the back of the gloves. These pockets are large enough to hold a credit card, a hand warmer, or keys. We've added waterproof zippers to help keep the pockets dry. But if you have a sophisticated key fob, don't stick it in there and leave your hands underwater for a while, because you could ruin it. So go skiing in -20 degrees, put a hand warmer in your gloves, and have fun.
